You're never too old...
Life begins at… [insert your age here!]
Over the years, with the help of our resident’s we have developed a huge range of activities. Some for groups, some individual, some in-house, others a short trip away and all inclusive, with fun, companionship and stimulation at their heart.
Whether your interest is learning a new skill, or revisiting an established one, we are confident we will have something to offer. Some of our resident’s participate in most of our activities, others take a ‘less is more’ approach. Whatever your preference, our team will support you to enjoy a comfortable, stimulating and rewarding life at Cheswardine Hall.
As a private physiotherapist I visit a number of homes in Shropshire. Cheswardine creates a welcoming pleasant home for it’s residents and I have found management and staff to be very supportive. With one resident in particular, they have been very accommodating in terms of supporting therapy, by allowing specialist exercise equipment to be sited in the home. Their activity coordinator, Claire , engages the residents beautifully and is inspiring in her approaches with both individuals and groups. These little things make massive contributions in enhancing people’s life experiences ‘
-- Andrea—
After several weeks of searching and a number of visits to care homes in the Shropshire area we eventually found Cheswardine Hall. From the outset we were impressed by the locality, the accommodation and the welcome we received from both yourself and all the members of staff.
Our priority was to find a home where our mother would be happy and well cared for in the best possible surroundings. Over the last twelve months since she arrived at Cheswardine our expectations have been exceeded in all areas. In addition to the basic requirements one would expect from a care home the owners and staff provide additional stimulation with an excellent programme of activities.
We feel that our mother’s condition and general health has stabilized; it has put our minds at rest to know that she is being cared for in the way that we had hoped.
